MGM Supplement: Hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids are a result of constipation and regularly passing bowel movements that are too hard, resulting in severe irritation and inflammation of blood vessels in the colon and rectum. (Pregnancy and childbirth are also a major cause of hemorrhoids in women.)

So the ultimate answer is to get at the root of the problem by using Herb-Lax daily (to decrease transit time and thus give bowel movements less time to harden), Optiflora daily (healthy intestinal flora makes bowel movements softer and easier to pass -- healthy bowel movements should be made up of about 60% good bacteria), and increasing the fiber in the diet -- using one of the MGM fiber products is a very simple and effective way to do that.
